Who am I?

My name is Charlene Chow, and I identify with these pronouns: she, her, hers.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) registered to practice in the states of Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, and Florida. I have a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine, as well as a M.P.H. with a concentration in Health Management from Drexel University. My practice is informed by a strong pre-medical background, a belief in the holistic mind-body connection and power of creativity, and more than a decade of clinical exposure in both medical and psychiatric settings.

It is my passion to collaborate with adults of all ages, regardless of racial or cultural identity, gender, sexual orientation, or other spiritual beliefs or life experience. That said, I am also a proud provider with the Lotus Therapy Fund. My approach is cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I believe everyone needs help sometimes, and everyone deserves help and understanding always.

Who are you?

Are you hoping to better manage your mood or anxiety? Do you live with chronic health conditions or simply want to change some of your health habits? Maybe you’re grappling with questions about race, culture, or sexual identity? Or perhaps you're concerned more generally with challenging relationships, work, or more global impacts on daily living?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, please know that you are not weird, you are certainly not alone, and you can absolutely find support for your physical, emotional, and mental health goals. Perhaps I can even provide some of that support.
